WP4 addresses the issue of mediation services development and it aims at providing CoPs with advanced communication and collaboration services that are able to enhance individual and organizational learning. The main WP4 objectives are:

• Regulation and facilitation of the interactions held among CoPs members through appropriately structured argumentative discourses, so as to provide CoPs with the means to accomplish a common understanding;
• Keeping track of the CoPs members interactions (involving actors and learning resources), thus providing awareness services;
• Exploitation of the individual and organizational tacit knowledge, and development of context specific knowledge and meta-cognition in CoPs.

WP4 will develop web-based tools supporting argumentative collaboration towards learning, as well as monitoring and awareness of collaboration.
