Origin of the community: ADIRA is a professional association that regroups executive from medium to large companies in Rhone-Alpes (including Rhone-Alpes subsidiaries of large companies) in the IT area, both on users' side (mostly CIOs, but also General managers) and on the suppliers' side (provoders, IT and Telecom companies, service companies and consultants).
Openness of the group, evolution of members: The association is more that 35 years old and regroups more than 600 companies.
Main intention: To inform members about the "state of the art" of It management through refelxion groups and exchange clubs; to publish surveys, thematic files and recommendations especially for SMEs members, organise professional meetings; facilitate networking processes among members
Who moderate: There is a structure (association loi 1901) with a president and a general secretary being in charge of animating the association life
Modalities of knowledge management (in which purpose): The association keeps a "memory" of its main events, and the publications are always available.
